Hello guys/girls. I'll make an attempt to keep this quick and simple for you all. I'm a 21 year old college student, and I've been playing online poker for around 2 years now. I started with a free $20 through TGC promotion, and have played off of it ever since. I haven't worked in those 2 years, as I live rather meagerly at college anyway...so the poker money has been enough to live off of. I started at .05/.10NL and was up to playing $1/$2NL and dabbled a few sessions in 2/4, but since I didn't have a job on top of the poker, I never really had the opportunity to build myself a bankroll. I always spent the money as fast as I won it, if not faster. So essentially, I'm back to having no bankroll, and I'm starting from dirt.
Anyway, the plan now is to basically start over and get the bankroll built up and hopefully let it continually grow. I'll be starting at .25/.50NL, and while my bankroll is not conservatively adequate for the level (it's around $300 right now), I know I can beat that game and build a bankroll. I will not move up to $100NL until I have $1800-$2000 in my roll.
So that's my introduction, and I'll be starting a Journal in the journal section of the forum. I urge you guys to check it out, comment, critique, whatever you feel like doing. Thanks!
