Im new to the forum

I did a search with google for info on PLO8 and I came across this site. I have been lurking for a while since then and after reading the FAQ and other stickies on this board I decided to register. I know cactus Jack is interested in feedback on this part of the forum and I think the attitude here is very good. Some forums you end up getting flamed while you try to learn and I didn't see that attitude here. :D

I enjoy clearing bonuses with LO8 and was curious about starting out playing PLO8. As mentioned the search brought me here. When I finish grinding out hands for the night I sometimes enjoy a SNG. Sometimes early in the AM the ring games are not going as good as I would like and that is another good time to get in a SNG. I'm not very good and I have just finished HOH I and II and I will be posting here to hopefully improve my play.

To get started learning NLSNG's I went to Doyles room as they have very low buy-in games that are perfect for getting the flow of the game down before I move up to the real games. I have played 27 games at the .10+.01 limit  and I have been doing pretty well for my small sample. (2 games were at the .50+.05 and I took first in both :D )

ROI 132%
ITM 59%
ITM from bubble 88%
Tournies 27

I think Im ready to play the $1 games with my $50 bankroll I have set aside for SNG's. I hope to soon get enough experience and winnings to make the jump to the $5.50 games on stars. I plan on reading this forum and asking questions about what others have posted. Maybe I will even make a post if I run into a hand where I think I could improve my play. I have already seen a few posts on ROI and I use the SNG tracker program that is free to keep all these numbers up to date. I have no clue how to calculate it but the program handles all of that for me.

Finished ITM in my first $11 on Party thanks to the Nashvegas post.

Party gave me a free $40 bonus so I may as well check out these 11's. Glad I found BTP.

Compared to the lower buy-in SNG's on Doyle's room, the party 11's seem just as easy provided the cards treat you somewhat fairly if thats even possible. I would have been 2nd in chips 3 handed but villians JJ caught a 3rd J on the turn to beat my K's. :(

Thats poker but Im up $20 :D

I thought the 11's would be pretty good players and was kind of nervous
