Party 400 NL 2/4 Hand

Postby eliteprodigy » Wed Mar 02, 2005 10:53 am

I get AJs in late position and raise to 15, SB calls and one other.

Flop: A 8 6 rainbow. Pot is 45 around. I bet 40 when checked to me, SB calls only.

Turn: K : He check, I checks. Put 2 diamonds out there.

River: 9: He leads out for 120 in a 125 pot.

I am strongly inclined to fold here however, he took this same line with me the previous hand and I have no notes on this player. What hand coudl he have to want to check the turn and then lead out so strong on the river. With one second left on the timer I decided it would be good for future information and I was really bewildered by what he may have had to play his hand this way. Also, he took this same line with me the previous hand on a board of 776 and I had to lay it down. I figured if he made two pair he leads out for maybe 60 or 75, 120 is just too strong after i check my turn. Anyways, he flips over 5 7o for the straight. Good to know information wise. Does everyone fold this river so quickly?
