Here's one from last night that pissed me off.

$50 NL at Party. I'm in the CO with [8c], folds to me, I raise to $2, button calls, SB calls.

$6.50 in pot on flop which is [7c][3d]. Looks good.
But then SB bets $7, I raise, button folds, SB pushes, I call.
SB shows A9 (!!!) and takes it down when I miss everything.

I had to quit not too long afterwards (past my bedtime) so I never got a chance to take it back. Grr....

I'm beginning to think low variance is the way to go. Just wait until I have a big pair or a set and take all his money 80% to 90% of the time instead of 55% to 60%.

FWIW, I've never been able to routinely make money in this type of push with the uberdraw situation.
