the board is really scary to anyone without the straight. Besides maybe betting $5, what kind of bet is someone with two pair or trips gonna call? If I check, i think i will make more money off the occasional bluff at the pot when they try to represent the nuts. Thoughts?

With 4 to the straight on the board, it'd take some real guts to bluff on the river. If it were the T on the board instead of the A (giving someone with a 9 a lower straight), I might throw out $10 to see if I get a call from a smaller straight, but there are no smaller straights possible, and you're only going to be called by someone you're chopping with (and losing money on the added rake).

I think a check here is fine.
