Kowboy

If I ain't sinkin', well I must be swimin' If I ain't dead, I must be livin' Livin' is the thing, that scares me the most And if I ain't sleepin', well I better be fishin' If I ain't anchored I will be driftin' But all and all, I'm doing pretty good, since I hit my third coast!

Stars biggest problem is how hard the bonuses are to release playing low stake games compared to Party.

I have $400 of bonuses unused there now - i still have $100 of Party skin bonuses and $220 of Paradise bonuses to clear off first (and $150 of UB bonuses which are about as slow as Stars but at least I can datamine using PT/GT+ and have rakeback deal there)

Whilst I'm, only playing 10-15 hrs/week Stars just doesn't get a look in except for SnG's.

Even if I played more i think I'd look at the crypto bonus sites (poker plex, will hill etc) before I bothered with Stars.

For those who care - the UB bonus has been extended until the 23rd.

------------------------

Excession - Stars may have a below par bonus program - but they have been growing quite well because of a number of other factors - most namely the back-to-back wins at the WSOP. If I was an aspiring player - I'd probably choose PS just because they are the ones who sent the winners the past two years.

For someone like me though, presentation is key. In my opinion, Stars' software is above and beyond the rest of the poker world by leaps and bounds. With 40k players a night now - table selection is nice. Tournaments are always top notch - so I don't see why Pokerstars would ever be in bad shape.

Regarding the ever-present comment that the Party skins are the loosest around - I still believe this is a self-perpetuating myth. Pokerstars does have tables like this all of the time - but it isn't brought up because people attribute it to a "tricky" play or something. The fact of the matter is, Pokerstars has a nice variety of players, games and limits to choose from. Yes, the Party skins have this as well, but their software is ugly and sloppy (from my perspective). Give me a choice between them - and I'll take Pokerstars hands down.

As it is, I only go to other sites to hunt down bonuses.
