This was a funny hand. Hero is GooperMc, we are at bellagio 2/5 NL $200 max, our hero hasn't played a hand yet, and has been at the table for 30 min maybe. Hero raises to $30 preflop. Called by MP $110 before the hand. Flop is 1022, hero bets $80 putting second player all in. Player two thinks about it for maybe 30 seconds and calls. GooperMc turns over AA player 2 KQo, I was playing across the table and the look of confusion on GooperMc's face was hillarious. This guy now has more cards to be drawing dead after the turn than he does to be drawing live to at best a 4 outter on the river. Just an example of the top notch players at the small NL games at the Bellagio.

Rhound... I know this discussion should be in the B&M category, but since you posted I figure I'd ask... I'm going to Vegas in about a month, and am looking for a fishing hole... any suggestions... at 1/2 NL... BTW, are all the 2/5 NL tables $200 max? That seems kinda low, doesn't it???
Thanks..>MVP

I just got back from Las Vegas. Most of the poker rooms have 1/2 blind avg. $100 buy in NL games. From what I saw every single one of them was at least pretty good. I played mostly at Harrahs, Imperial Palace and Excalibur. It's fun walking from room to room looking for a great game. Lucky for us most of them are quite good.

good luck
