RESULTS Monday 21st Mar - Sunday 27th Mar 2005

Postby k3nt » Sun Mar 27, 2005 12:18 pm

Hey everybody!

I'm the new moderator of the forum, so I can not just create these threads but also make them sticky now. How exciting is that?

I'm realizing that I really am too results-oriented. But that's not a personality flaw I am likely to correct soon, so I'm the perfect guy to start these threads. I'll try to start them before the end of the week so that anybody who quits early for the week can post early.

And people, please use these threads! Even if you don't post much, or if you don't play high limits, share with us how you're doing and your ups and downs. The rest of us want to share in your ups and downs with you as you go through them.

It's all about building community. Please contribute to that. Thanks!

My first winning post... hope I did okay...

I've moved to the $50 games entirely now on Gaming Club. Some of my results for the week are from $20 tables though.

Total ring games: 12.2 hours, +$316.34, +$26.00 / hr.
Freerolls: 3 played, 1 money, placed 10th of 811, +$30.00.

Total: +$346.34.

I was actually down almost 40 bucks for the week on the $20 tables, so the $50 tables have been very good to me so far.

(I had a massive suckout tonight in my favor to make up for the one I lost yesterday: I was all-in on the turn with a set vs. my opponent's straight, but I filled up on the river. Whew!)

Another best week ever. I know this roll can't last but I'm sure enjoying it. Thanks one more time, to Iceman for getting me to play Gaming Club, and to everybody for encouraging me and helping me learn this game. Thanks thanks thanks!!!

I finally turned it around this week. After three weeks of losing I can report a winning week. All on UB - I have to try GC, Kent, don't I?

$10 NL +$58.35 - 10 HRS
$25 NL +$24.95 - 2 HRS

Total = +$83.30 - 12 hrs - $6.90/hr

After starting the month by losing everything I had won so far this year - I dropped down to the $10 tables and have been playing just one table at a time. Trying to focus and get my game back. Looks like it is working. Maybe next week I can move back up to the $25 game and keep up my winning ways.

Seriusly sunbob...if you're on a downstreak...considering switching for a while. It gives you a new perspective on the game. Not to mention the nice bonuses you can earn. good luck!

1934 hands ($50 NL Party/Empire)
Vp$iP 28%, PFR 9.15%, PFA 3.16, WtSD 20%
+$90.02
+4.65BB/100 (PT-style)
Time spent 14 hours . MT 2.63.

Weird week.
First of all I was coming of last week's incredible session where I played LAA at Coral and made 100+BB/100.
Second I read Harrington on Hold Em cover to cover last weekend.

So I started off I trying to play LAG and combine it with new stuff from HoH.

I dug a big hole with dreadful play (almost $200) and by Saturday was not looking forward to posting my first loss since November.

I had a the last half of a Party bonus to clear ($150) so I thought I would go back to my old style play just to clear it.

Anway to cut a long story short I ended up +$90 (ignoring bonuses).

I also had a terrible last 30 minutes on Sunday night where twice I got the money in on the turn only to be beaten by two outers on the river (if I'd dodged the 2x 2 outers I would have been +$290 for the week which is much more respectable).

I cleared a total of $250 in Party/Empire bonuses. So total addition to bankroll +$340.
Real hourly rate for Ring is:
$24.28/hr.

That's why I love Party. I play just about as badly as I can for 5 days of a week and the bonuses still mean a healthy bankroll increase at the end of it. :D

Oh and played an $5 MTT at UB (300 players - was leader with 40 left but busted out 20th for about $12 i think. Also lost a $5 SnG I was playing simultaneously and $2 on the 1c/2c Omaha 8 table - so that was break even for my Sunday night post-bonus wind-down..

Cheers.

Party had a 20% reload bonus (max $200 for $1000 deposit). I deposited $750 for a $150 bonus - took 1050 raked hands to clear (about 80% of hands played at $50 NL tables count so that about 1300 real hands).

Empire gave me a 15% reload (I think because I hadn't played there in 2 months) max $100 for 500 hands.

Last week I also cleared $50 first deposit bonus at Eurobet (another Party skin) with a $250 deposit in 250 raked hands.

So yes that's $300 in Party and its skins bonuses in the last 2 weeks - taking 1550 raked hands - about 2000 actually played.

Of course have also won money by playing winning poker (at about 16 PT-style BB/100 - about $400) so my roll is up overall by $700 over about 2500 hands. (Or 60 big blinds/100).

I've played 19 hours in total in that time which works out at $37/hr - pretty good for the 25c/50c tables which is why I play party wherever possible.

The only site that I have done better on this month is UB (where I can also datamine tables before I sit down). My win rate thru March there is 26BB/100 (PT style) on the $50 and $100 tables for an hourly rate of $37 + UB bonuses (these are harder to work out and seem very slow but are probably about $7/hr or so).

I've only played 1000 hands or so there though.

I didn't play at all in February as I had real life stuff to do and needed to rebuild my computer.
