Stack sizes?
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Stack sizes at the top of the post.

Ouch. That's tough. I think I would have bet a little smaller on the flop just as a probe bet, something like 600, and hope he just calls.

I guess you could say that you were priced in after the flop, but I think I would have just checked the turn hoping to see the river for free, probably fold if he pushes.

The thing is here that if you give it up to a bet on the turn, you're still in pretty decent shape to wait for a better spot. I really hate giving up almost all my stack on a draw when I'm still in good enough shape to see some more hands.

What was he holding? Two clubs? Or did he flop a set with JJ or QQ perhaps? That micro-raise he did preflop looks really weird. I can't figure out why you had to put in 400 more chips to his preflop reraise?

I'd raise to 500 preflop, and check that flop. I see no reason to bet as you'd hate to be raised off the hand and you definitely do not want to play a big pot here. You're the chipleader on the bubble so by keeping the pot small and keeping a chip lead you'll be able to steal blinds a lot easier than if you were an average stack. As played after betting the flop I check the turn, but I'd much prefer just checking the flop.

He had KK.

I bet the flop cause well...he checked to me and I have the nut flush draw/bottom pair...and that's just somethin I do...

he took a long f-ckin time to call it so I figured he had a hand but no club...the turn comes...a blank of course...he checks again...so I put him in hopin for a fold but if he calls...I have enough outs...

he took up almost all of his 60 seconds...then called...

and of course like most good players...I miss...and cry...
