one technique ive used to improve my game was taken from one of dan neg. articles.
the basic idea is to play at a lower limit, one where you can afford to lose a buy in if things dont go well and chalk it up to a learning experience.
then you proceed to play like a complete maniac and bluff as often as you think it will possibly work, and get every ce3nt of value, without regard to anything other than winning the pot and getting full value.
you cant play but so low to get any value at all because the players do have to think somewhat. i play the 25 or 50 buy in nl but use your discretion.
this is not exactly what dan neg. suggested but my modification of his idea.
the great thing about it is how much it will help your hand reading and feel for the game.
oh yeah and its also a real kick!!! lots of fun and it hasnt cost me anything (i actually manage to make a littlt)
it illustrates some interesting things while you play and should start to open your eyes to profitable bluffing possibilities. everyone at the table will think you are an uber fish but you can still outplay them and win a little (not as much as if you toned it down a bit)
