I don't mind the PF call but I'm CR the flop. I'm happy to take the pot down there. The overcard that fell on the turn is a potential nightmare for me if he's raised PF with a big ace. Not to mention the flush draw. My 2P is too good to toss but this isn't what I'd call a slowplay flop in LHE. Being HU helps but I think applying pressure early and often is the right idea.
I don't want to give anyone nightmares but there is the following cautionary tale that we've all experienced at one time or another:
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) from (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
Preflop: Hero is SB with J

, Q

.
3 folds, MP2 calls,
2 folds, Hero completes, BB checks.
Flop: (3 SB) A

, T

, 6
(3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP2 checks.
Turn: (1.50 BB) 7
(3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP2 checks.
River: (1.50 BB) K
(3 players)
Hero bets, BB folds,
MP2 raises,
Hero 3-bets,
MP2 caps, Hero calls.
Final Pot: 9.50 BB
Results in white below:
MP2 has Ac Ad (three of a kind, aces).
Hero has Jd Qd (straight, ace high).
Outcome: Hero wins 9.50 BB. If he bets
anywhere pre river I'm gone of course...not a big pot but at least the chips would have flowed in the right direction for him.
