I really don't understand how a push here is a good idea. The best spin you could put on Q8 is that it's a stone-cold tossup against a random hand. How can that be calculated as significantly +EV?

What exactly do you hope he calls with? If you hope he doesn't call, are you doing this to try to steal 1BB? How is that gonna help you? Just give him your 75 chips and move on.
