The Idiot Factor 3-handed

Postby DonkiFornication » Mon Sep 11, 2006 5:01 pm

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (3 handed) from (Format: Bet The Pot)

saw flop|saw showdown

Button (t3240)
SB (t4735)
Hero (t5525)

Preflop: Hero is BB with [Td], [9h].
Button calls t600, SB completes, Hero ______________ ???

What's my range to push here? These idiots have done this the last 2 orbits to my BB and folded to my pushes. Obv, my pushing range is smaller because of the recent pattern. But what's the range the first time it happens? The second? The third?

Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

I would rather push with 72o here than T9. T9 has some value, you can play it post flop, just check and see a flop. If you've been pushing a lot here it is not unlikely that they're about to trap you, I know I'd limp any PP tens or higher and AK/AQ here just to call your push with.
