The woman was tight, easy to read her...guy to my left was a Lag and called everyone sir...they have good manners in Co. guy to my right was a sycophant... but pretty good player.
Everybody was careful...hardly no all ins early...i got QQ on BB, 5 limps in front of me starting with mid position, so i bet 8x the bb...everyone folded.
The woman was blinding out, and got shortstacked, had to go all in, and got broke.
Guy to my left was getting lucky, and became big chip leader...guy to my right was getting shortstacked and kept giving me advice on how to play. I had announced this was my 1st ever LIVE sng...but that i "DID play alot online...guy to the left said "ahh, you can't get good playing online...you can only learn about pot odds...LIVE is where it's at"

Got down to 4 of us....i was 2nd in chips...guy to right was on a severe short stack....young guy across the table seemed fair and patient and tight...i knew if he came in, he had a good hand...guy to left, chip leader, would play any 2...
The Big Hand...it always comes....i got to limp on my BB with Q8c...
flop came Kc 10c 2c...i had flopped the flush...young guy bet 1/4 pot, mr. short stack called...i went all in...chip leader started talking...he 'said' he had strt draw and flush draw...i feared the Ac...but knew the odds were with me, and didn't care...he waited a LONG time...must have been a regular, noone called time on him...he finally folded, telling me 'i was lucky' he didn't call....everyone else folded....chip leader wanted to rabbit hunt, so the dealer played it out...the Ac hit the river.
Shortstack, every time he was all in, with LESS than the BB, won the hand...the blinds were 200/400 with 100 ante, ugh...he kept alive....then the guy on the left got weird...he kept calling the young guys all in's with trash...the young guy kept showing good hands...AQ, KQ, 77,,,, but chip leader kept calling...with J2o, 107s, Q9o...and kept doubling up the young guy...UGH...course we online players aren't too good...we thought all these calls were mistakes, since the short stack was barely able to make the blinds...he kept getting in with less than the bb every time...
Another hand i forgot, I put the former chip leader out...the 3rd place guy had made the money...
Former chip expert leader quickly disappeared and had no more comments.
Shortstack guy had 300 chips...i had 5000 chips, young guy had about 1000 chips (i had taken a big pot off him a few hands ago)
Get this...short stack, with his 300, loudly announces....CHOP IT...and called the pit boss over...saying we had ALL agreed to chop it...
WTH!!!??? I spoke up, well, let's play a few more hands...NO CHOP.
HE was incredulous...said "well, we locals always chop it when it gets down to 3"
I thought, but didn't say outloud " I aint' no local, and you dumba__, what are you thinking????" Heh
He was pissed i wanted to keep playing and that i wouldn't chop...Whined for a few more hands until young guy put him out.
I started going in almost every time....young guy finally called, got lucky 3x in a row...then heh, I announced 'count your chips, maybe we'll chop it" we were close, we chopped it.
Moral: When the big stack and someone is hanging by a thread...only play AK, AA, KK...
MORAL 2: i guess all of us online players aren't so bad after all.
