I've been venting to people I know but thought this could bring up some interesting stories.

I'm in a FREE NBA fantasy league. 6 people make the playoffs with 5 clinched and me in 6th and it ends this week. Last week and this week, the teams playing the 7th ranked team benched their teams so that I would get passed and knocked out of the playoffs. I said something last week about the one guy benching so out of spite, that's why this week's guy is benching his team too to help out and screw me over in a FREE league.

How's that for petty? Can someone beat that?

I don't even know these guys. they are friends of friends and I really don't care about making the playoffs except that they are cheating and its the principle of it now. I'm really not here to rant and whine to you guys, but it got me thinking if there is something more pathetic than that.

Edit: My one friend in the league is obviously on my side but nothing we can do. Since this happened, I have since told them all off and will proceed to annoy them til its over. Pretty much use the skills I have perfected by posting here.

That's all I have to say on the matter.

I've been trying to think of petty things that have happened to me. Nothing comes to mind that approaches the cr*p you're describing. Yeesh.

Just a funny thing to add on to this story. The guy that helped the team get into the playoffs for spite against me just got knocked out of the playoffs by the guy that he helped get in. HAHAHA. Serves him right that stupid bastard.

Sad thing is that the 2 original cheaters are playing the championship game.
