Working on my middle aggression pt5...

Postby MVPSPORTS » Tue Oct 24, 2006 2:04 am

Okay... I have a very distinct pattern in 180 man SNGs... Although I haven't actually taken accurate records, I would say my ITM% is prolly close to 45%, but about 90% of those cashes are 3 hour long affairs to make $20... I've only FTed like 5-6 times (out of DOZENS of cashes)... I usually double up early, toil and boil for the middle levels, and then end up too short ITM to survive that long.... Moral of the story is I'm trying to mize up a few more chips in the earlier/middle stages, and have a few hands that I'm curious of how good the plays are... Generally speaking expect no reads, as I just dont care that much...

SB v. BB... Is this standard???

I would of let him have it. Mostly because he had to call with 2-1. If he had a little more chips then this would be completely standard.

Also letting him take your BB once or twice will set him and the rest of the table up for later...making resteals easier.

Yeah fold preflop. The value you will gain if you win is much less than what you lose if you lose the hand. He isn't folding his hand here. Basically, if he open pushed, would you call? He'd have to have a range of nearly any two for this to be worth it.
