1st BTP private cash game..

Postby iceman5 » Sun Apr 17, 2005 2:42 pm

The 1st private NL cash game will be held Sun 4/27 at 4PM Central time (5 PM Eastern..same time as BTP tourney)

This will be a fun game so we 'll be playing affordable stakes. This game will be at Party, but we may hold the games at Gaming Club in the future.

Hopefully alot of you will play or atleast come by and railbird. I believe you will be able to play at the table from any Party skin.

Please vote for which stakes you prefer and I will post the results in a few days.
Once we figure out what the stakes are....you will find the private table at the bottom of the list of tables for those stakes. In other words if we are playing $50NL, then at the bottom of the $50 NL table list you'll see

Baummers private table......(Baummer is me)

The table wont show up until a few mins before we start because I only have 5 mins to join the table after starting it.

The password will be BTP (all caps)

In the interest of being a nice guy, I'm gonna help ice drum up some interest.

I'll be attending the cash game.

If the prospect of my dead money sitting there waiting to be grabbed doesn't get you greedy mongrels salivating, nothing will!

If anyone can transfer money to me on Party, I would be able to play. I can transfer the money on Stars.

Oh jeez.... I'm going to have to go full force LAG mode on this one......

Just beware.... I don't really get going until I'm down at least 4 buyins.

I played the last 2 BTP tourneys as "tycowyd" - I think my name on partypoker is "ididapoopy"

Gee, If I ever sit down at a table w/ someone named "Ididapoopy", I'd give em one of my buy-ins just for making me laugh my ass of...

BTW.... weren't you like killing everyone at the Tourney...? What happened...?

I'm an idiot and gave my whole stack away with an overpair vs a flopped set.

Why are we doing this on party??? I will play either way, but I really dont like party poker and the less business I give them the happier I am.

Stars also has private tables

I dont want to sound like one of those conspiricy people, but I have gotten screwed more on party than statistically I should. After I quit playing Nl on party I went back and looked at all my Pt numbers. After my last fursteration with losing on Party and was trying to put into numbers why I cant seem to win on that site. I have been in the black at every other site I have ever played any decent amount of time on. I'm now down a little at TGC but that will change. Anyways here are the numbers I came up with from PT.
This is from a data pool of 7245 hands.

When I flopped a flush draw and saw cards to the river I hit my flush: 19.7 % of the time
won when I flopped a set: 58%
Floped a set with PP: 8.9% should be 13.3%
won with AA (not inlcuding preflop) 42.9%
I ran into AA with KK or QQ: 4 times
Had AA vs KK/QQ: 1 lost to a flopped set
in 7245 hands I had AA/ KK/QQ : 69 avergae shoulf be 98
Lost set over set: 2 times
Won set over set 0 Times
Flopping a str8 .4% average 1.3%

I know I'm supposed to go 10,000 hands before my data is statistically signifiact but this was enough frusteration for me. I couldnt make a big hand and when I did they didn't hold up. I have read multiple reports from reputable sources that party is legit but, my luck on their site has been horrible and I dont plan to give them anymore of my money, I like their bonus's which will be the only time I play party/ skins. Sorry if this is more of a book than you wanted.
