Yeah you've got it all correct.

My winning rate goes down slighty when I play 4-5 tables..but I actually make more money because I'm playing more hands. (not to mention working off bonuses faster.)

You do lose a lot of your reads..and you have to start getting accustomed to it.

If you'd like to experiment..I recomend just trying 2 tables at one time...then eventually 3...then 4...and figure out what you're most comfortable with. It took me quite a bit of time to adjust to playing 4 tables. But now..It's second nature. Kinda like learning how to ride a bicycle.

Welll if i went back down to one I would play too many hands I think. Personally my comfort zone is 2-3 though folks do play up to 8..

I would certainly try 2 if I were you - it's unlikley to half your win rate

As you play more hands it smoothes the variation so you probably ned less overall bankroll...

I have been playing 4 tables for a while. I started playing 1 at limit, then 2, 3, 4. Then 1 at no limit, 2, 3, 4. It is easy as pie now. I even play having all the games overlap and it is rarely a problem.

I intend to buy an addtional monitor soon and move from 4 to 5, 6, 7, 8. I don't think it will be much of a problem. I play the low stakes no limit so it's not as if it's critical to make plays and call out bluffs left and right.

i'll play two tables, not usually more than that...if you tend to get impatient/undisicplined, more tables may make it easier on you.....you also increase the mistakes of one table popping up when you are trying to bet on another....can be very annyoing....
