UTG goes on to tell me he normally plays $1000NL and $26 isnt much or a raise to him. I wonder how well he does at $1000NL when he calls 13% of his stack preflop with T7s?


This hand was played at he same time as the top hand so I was a little distracted. Anyone fold the turn getting over 3-1? I felt I was pot committed, which really makes his all in ridiculous.

34os??? You know the answers to these Q's Ice, I suppose he could have put you on overs and felt you were just trying to push him out of the pot in hand #2...I could potentially see his logic....

Knowing what i do about your playstyle, this would be reasonable, but thats exactly why being aggressive can pay off huge....in this case, you got Party Poker'ed

Had to figure the baby flush there....with a slight chance of overplayed TPTK.....Even if you concede the baby flush, ~28% chance to win which is just about break even, throw in the chance he has misplayed TPTK, and you have a callable hand...

Well first off I want some of what you have... AA at one table, QQ at the other... I got to think that is +ev.

I think you made both of those calls correctly. You just ran into some bad luck and loose players. With the runner runner boat possibility (hey, it could happen) on the first hand this is slightly better than a wash. Plus he might have a pair and a draw (KsJx comes to mind). Second hand is just monster bad luck.

As to his comments, people will often play much looser when they are below their normal level... ever play .01-.02 NL? Its all relative. He might do well at 1000NL, but you should be able to own him if he keeps playing this loose.
