Dude UTG pots it and everyone calls to the button (6 max). This sucks ballz and I can either call or try and isolate. With that many callers and it's an ok hand as far as AAxx hands go, I decide to try and isolate. I don't really have any reads on the UTG dude, but I have him as a 80/22 player so he could be doing this with anything and my hand has a good shot of being good here. So I make it $11 to go and UTG repots for $33.95 allin. Two donks after him push also, one had a starting stack of $12.70 and the other $16.70.

It comes back to me with $23 to call for a roughly $77 in the pot already. Can I come up with any rationale to fold here or is it even right to fold? Or do I call and suck up the variance? With the now definite possibility that UTG has another AAxx hand and two others in the pot, I could easily be a dog to one of the smaller stacks if their cards are live.

I'm going to disagree.

I think there's just too many ways to get sucked out on for this pot.

The math may bear out in the long term ... but so does hitting 16 against a T in blackjack. Best just not to be there in the first place. The schooling effect is hard to beat, at least in my experience at Limit Holdem. In Omaha, that many starting hands even out against each other to make no one a favorite in reality.

This is my opinion ... that being said ... I'm only suggesting it because you were looking for a reason to fold.

I would sometimes call. Not as a rule ... but enough to mix up both your image to yourself and others, and also to take advantage of the times when you will win ... when you can afford to. Anytime you call a 1/4 pot for 1/4 chance of winning, you're evening it out. Therefore, there's no real spectacular reason mathematically to call or fold. You may want to consider if it is likely whether better opportunities will come or not.
