Vinny: Why are we stopped here? What's wrong with that spot?
Tyrone: It's too tight.
Vinny: Too tight? You could land a jumbo f*cking jet in that.

There's already some great choices posted but I will say:

Mercy, Mercy, Mercy - as played by Cannonball Adderley

Yes, Starstealer there is another jazz freak in the forum

I'm actually not much of a "jazz" fan - but more of a fan to music. I used to claim I had the most diverse collection of cds with such a small collection (around 300), but my brother beat me with his own - and it is only 6 cds... You would not believe it:

Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Jewel
Lita Ford (80's rock)
The Doors
Crash Test Dummies
and
a cd of a symphony (but I don't remember which one - it is contemporary though...)

As to Dave Brubeck - his work actually sparked my interest in composing - which of course is also by the wayside. His off-time work is simply great. If you want a great selection of some of his stuff, pick up his 2-disc collection that came out some 10 years ago or so. It has a lot of his greats.

And yes DB wrote Take Five - his career is a lot longer than most would suspect...
