should I be worried

Okay so last night I am playing on Caribbean Sun at the same table as a friend of mine who I told to try the William Hill bonus. We played for about an hour and a half never really running up against each other. i mean there were a couple of hands where I would call like a 3x raise then he would come in with a reraise and i would fold & vice versa. then he types in the chat area hey call me. I type let me leave the table first. I then immediately left the table and called him. My question should I be worried about the sites accusing us of collusion? or am I just being paranoid?

Generally, I wouldn't be too concerned about it unless you have an accusation against you. In general, the sites aren't proactive about deterring colluders (meaning they usually wait until a complaint is made) - but they collect the data to indicate colluding activities so they have a case when a complaint is made.

For instance, I've played over 10k hands with one of my friends at Pokerstars - if I'm at a table there, he is as well (at least until recently). We've never colluded even though we have talked on the phone while sitting at the table before. I don't think we've ever been called upon for cheating, but if we were, I don't think there'd be much to prove that we were (mostly because we weren't). I could be wrong... Telling him that you'll leave the table to talk to him is a good faith thing which should be respected as well.

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about it.
