I think it will all probably come down to clinton/mccain in 08. However, as kent said, taking the field for both parties would probably be the smartest bet, as there's still a lot of time.

Also, this is a thread from another forum. It has some really good points about the upcoming presidential election as well as what being on a campaign staff is like (mods remove link if its not allowed, but I don't see why it wouldn't be..)

Guiliani will be pres in 2009

or Romney, but most likely Guiliani.

Guiliani is not for gun control on a national level and that issue is pretty much dead.

prochoice wont hurt him as long as he says the right thing on justices and he supports a ban on partial birth.

Here in Iowa, at least right now, John McCain seems to be getting more traction than anyone else, . I'm not a Repub but work with and for some of the hard core in our state and they are starting to get excited about him.
