Small Stakes NL 2 hands for review

.25/.50 $50 NL
Hand One:
A bunch of shorter stacks at this table with nearly every one having about or under $25 at the moment with the exception of the button who has $45. I had just switched tables to the first open one after being stuck with two nutpeddlers (that might be the play of the day on my part).

UTG Minimum raises, he sucks does all kinds of fishy betting and raising plays many subpar hands, I figure him for a suited Ace or KJ or something, it is called in two spots before it gets to me in the cutoff with JJ, I make it $4 to go, there are five of us total to the the flop.

[9d] [7d] [2c]

It checks to me I bet $20... I was unsure of this when I was making the play. It seemed the right bet, I did have an overpair, but the bet covered everyone except the cutoff. I'm in debate over stacking off now, or betting half the pot.

Hand Duece:

Much tougher table than one above with the exception of two seats, maybe three if you count mine :P

AA on the button I make it $3 to go, I've been making this raise with anything I've raised with so far all I've shown down is big aces, only the small blind calls who isn't remarkable by any means, I've seen him check raise under pairs to the board. We both have about $60

I lead at the flop of 553 rainbow for the size about $6 he smooth calls.

Turn is a 2, I lead again for the pot size, he check raises all in, I call.
I considered checking the turn thru, but I had the opponent on 99 or something like that and didn't want to give a free card, I also thought the opponent had me on AJ AQ AK or the like.
River is a 5. I would have got it all in anyway.
Of course he had the 5 and I have pie on my face, but I really am unsure if losing a stack here with AA is so bad, or if I am a complete goon. See any other way to play this hand? Suggestions on the turn? Think it is a long term winner to play for all the money here?

both hands seems ok for me, I would have played hand 2 quite differently maybe.
hand 1 you don't want flush chasers kill you and the pot is big enough to win it now.
hand 2 I bet the flop more than 6$, check the turn I think, but not sure I release my hand....
the interesting thing is the all in, I think he trapped you this way, maybe you would have released your AA to a min raise... ?
I cried because I had no draw, until I met a man with no pair>>>MVSPORTS

Hand 1, with that many limpers, i think i would raise a little more preflop like to $5. Not sure how many would fold but I don't want that many people in. I think your bet was fine on the flop because you only have to worry about the CO for losing your stack and short stacks are likely to call with many things on that flop

Hand 2, Its hard to put the guy on a 5 because their are so many hands he would make the same play with that you beat. I'm gonna lose my stack here too likely.

Brian beat me to it... but raise more PF against the hand 1 limpers, and I probably would've lost all my money on the 2nd... For every time someones playing a 5, there's 2 who think their 2pr 3 will hold up, or have a lower pocket pair...
