Postby MecosKing » Tue Mar 20, 2007 3:46 am

Well im playin mostly donkaments and NL at this particular time, but i got a hundred bucks on cakepoker and decided to shotoff a little bit playin good ole SHLHE...So heres a hand that all limit players can prol relate to...

Dealt to SnuffinU [Jd] [Js]
h3nryfu: folds
koonkhmer: folds
toplesschase: raises to $4
YMHbIU: calls
SnuffinU: raises to $6
tommyg: calls
toplesschase: calls
YMHbIU: calls
*** FLOP *** [4c] [8s] [5c]
SnuffinU: bets $2
tommyg: calls
toplesschase: raises to $4
YMHbIU: calls <----------------note, COLD CALLS 2 bets
SnuffinU: (??????) first decision
SnuffinU: calls
tommyg: calls
*** TURN *** [ 5h ]
SnuffinU: bets $4
tommyg: calls
toplesschase: raises to $8
YMHbIU: folds
SnuffinU:????????????? (second decision)

Wonderin what you guys would do in both spots. ZZZzzzzzomg, i even have reads for y'all!

tommyG and YMbIU are two of the worse holdem players i have ever played with. Really, theyre horrible. They will call down with any peice of the board and chase thier draws all the way to the river. They are really loose preflop too obv. tommy also checks down top pair hands (i.e. real weak/loose). YM actually does get value out of his hands when he has them, but calls off bets with just about any peice of the board, esp. HU. Real bad, both. The guy who raised me on this turn (the PFR) is new to the game and i dont have a read on him really.

I am calling. Its a big pot and tommy g will provide some additional padding here to offset the times you lose. I suspect we are beat, but we will at least get to see what the NooB is all about.

I am not sure why you are pointing out the flop cold caller.....he folded on the turn (unless HH is off). My guess on him is that he was on the flush draw and is a total tightwad who did not want to put in 2 big bets to chase his draw after seeing the board pair.

I probably would not have led the turn, but I am not going to quibble.

The reason was cos i was not just wondering what i oughta do on turn, but what i oughta have done on flop. If id have three bet the flop this hand may well have turned out differently than it did. I opted to just call the flop instead of three betting it, and one of the reasons for that was the cold caller...

gotcha................

I see that now. his presence does complicate the flop decision. I probably call like you did. We can raise it and make him pay the max if he's drawing, but its debatable.

Why didn´t you cap PF ? Value off course.
The pot is going to be big anyway as they are not folding whatever they called cold in the first place.
