His minibet on the turn indicates a weak pair. I would have figured he hit the 9, or has 55-88. This is just THE most common block bet and it's annoying as hell. My experience is that these donkeys won't fold to a big raise so I just give up here and draw to my overcards... most of the time, some of the time I decide to see if I can't get them to fold and lose my buy in.
