How do you play this type of hand? I am playing the $25 tables.

if someone had just a ten on the flop i think they woulda called your turn bet, when no one has a hand you cant win much. you dont wanna check and let them draw for free as you said.

This isn't exactly the type of hand that you want to make a 'big score' with. It is very vulnerable so you need to keep betting out (around the size of the pot). This, as others have said, is a fine play.

I guess I'm the only one who would have checked the flop. Leading out of the blinds makes your hand very transparent. If you lead out the flop and check the turn when you get a caller that is a good way to show weakness and might let you check-raise someone who called with a 10. (Or chased with an ace) In addition, this is a pretty uncoordinated board and only weird low 1-gap hands have non-gutshot straight draws. I'm going for a check-raise or letting everyone peel off a card.
