Good Beat Story

$200 max NL on UB, $1/$2 blinds
I have 3-3 in MP. UTG+1 limps and UTG+2 makes it $6 to go. Folds to the guy on my right,
who calls, I call, and then it folds to the BB, who calls and the limper calls.

Pot: $31
Board: 3[h]-6[c]-7[h]

checks to the preflop raiser, who bets $15. The buy in between him and me folds and I decide that I can't really call here because it gives great odds to the guys behind me, so I make it $40 to go. A bit small but I was looking to face the people who hadn't put money in the pot yet with a bigger bet while perhaps not losing the preflop raiser just yet. Well the BB check-raised all in for $117 and then the UTG+1 limper moves in for $311. The preflop raiser folds and I have $180 left in front of me.

This is the only time I've ever folded a set on the flop, but really, how can I call off my stack here? I muck and the BB has 6[h]-10[h] for a pair/flush draw while the limper turns over 6-6. Wooo! 6-6 holds up and wins a $540 pot and leaves the table after the next couple hands.

Well played Bob, correctly laying down a set is tough, but you did a nice job of realizing you were beat and mucking it.

Bob... seriously a good laydown, and one that I probably wouldn't have made...
