Is there a work around for company page blockage? I can't get into my fantasy sports pages because of the word fantasy. They are also getting where they are blocking the word poker too.

What are they wanting me to work all day or what?

There sure are ways to do it.

http://www.zensur.freerk.com/

What software are they using (when you try to access a blocked page, it will normally tell you)?

BTW, purposefully circumventing this software may not be looked upon too kindly by your employer.

Tetsuo,

They are using websense. They just started blocking poker and fantasy this week. I am hoping there will be enough complaints that they will give us fantasy sports back. I am sure they were trying to block sexual fantasy stuff.

In the meantime you can try this:

http://www.guardster.com/

Type in the URL you want to view. It'll be MUCH slower than regular access, and you'll have to skip past an advert every now and then, but it should work.

Once you are viewing a site, the guardster thing will re-encode all the URLs to go via their site, so websense shouldn't see any URLs to worry about.

Of course there's an outside chance that the guardster site itself is blocked.

Let me know if it works for you.

http://www.guardster.com/ is blocked. It's not a biggie as long as they dont block bet the pot.

I've never used it, but would tinyurl be a workaround here?

Make a tinyurl for quardster.com and then get to wherever you need to get via quardster?

Just a thought; no idea if it would work.

That shouldn't work because the tinyurl site sends the browser a redirect. The browser then tries to access the site directly.

If you are hell-bent on seeing a page and don't mind if it's out of date, get Google's cache of it.
