
Which would win in a fight?
Well as best as I can research quickly, the lion usually wins unless u find a particulary large and ferocious tiger.
Henry the 2nd held fights in the London tower w/ the lion usually winning. Those crazy brits.
Big cat handlers say that lions have no fear of tigers whereas tigers are jittery around lions. ok, me too.
Lions kill many tigers in foreign zoos. Crazy foreingners
The Romans reported that tigers won 75% of the fights. But that was w/ the Caspian tiger which is now extinct.
Lions and tigers where put in pit fights in Korea until 1960. Lions proved very difficult to kill w/ lion usually winning. But then they found a particularly large and ferocious subspecies of tiger, I think Bengals, that won nearly all fights against lions.
Lions manes give them some protection of the head, throat, and shoulders.
I hope that muddies up the waters some.
My money is on the lion. Unless u find a bigger, meaner tiger.
