1) OK, I shouldn't of called that river bet. I was just so p1ssed that this muppet had caught a straight. 90% of the time, I do lay my hand down.

2) When you have a good starting hand at this level, all a 4xBB pre-flop raise does is narrow the field down from 8 callers, to 5. So now I have a standard 10xBB raise when I get one of the top 3 starting hands.

3) Should I of bet the pot on the Turn? Or should I have let my hand go sooner?

Grrrrrr, calling a 10xBB pre-flop raise with J[h]5[s] !?!?!? I typed "well played" in chat afterwards. She replied "tks" I guess the sarcasm braincell doesn't kick in till the higher limits. :?

Side... nothin you can do about some idiot who wants to play J5o for a raise... except to invite her over to your house for a homegame... :D To answer your question about the turn, yes I probably would've bet the turn, and been VERY cautious if he called or raised... But, with what she had, it would've actually cost you more money to bet pot on the turn... Also, with that pretty coordinated board, I probably would've overbet the flop, being happy to take down a pretty decent pot... There are a LOT of scare cards that could hit the turn or river that could kill you (including the [7s] which actually did hit)... And, I think that, after she checked the turn, I would've DEFINITELY called that river... You have trip Aces, she hasn't played with any aggression yet, and she value bet half the pot... If she would've pushed, or bet full pot, I may have folded... But, you're gettin 3/1 on your money that your trips will hold up...
