Since the tables I play at are normally very passive, most people at the table know that if I am in a hand, I am normally going to be betting it."

At the $25 level dont count on people adjusting to your tight play. Tight but aggressive play gets the money at these tables...if you flop top 2 or some other strong hand and get trapped, so bet it, it has less to do with your image and more to do with the situation....rdale said it right when he said dont confuse a rock with a calling station...against a calling station you can push your semi-strong hands but against a rock if he calls a big bet on the flop then you can safely slow down on the turn with your semi-strong hands.

My problem is, that because of this image, I end up being susceptible to slow play every now and then, when a calling station flops a monster against me and I bet him the whole way down with 2 pair or TPTK and he turns over his (geniusly?) slow played trips. Is there any way to get away from this? It doesn't make me a losing player, because I definitly make way more than I lose by picking up small pots, beating them on the end, and sometimes improving to beat their hands, but it does hurt my profit. If a guy bets into me or reraises, I am able to get away from mediocre hands, but against a calling station whom I want to call my raises, I don't know how to tell what he has, since he plays middle pair bad kicker the same as trips, calling all the way down. I can sometimes minimize my losses by being in position, since I will usually check behind if I only have something like TPTK instead of betting into him on the river again, but other than that, is this just something I have to deal with, or is this a leak I can fix? Thanks for the help!
