If everybody was able to make a living off of their hobbies the world would be a much better place.

It is quite a swing:

1.-flopped topt set of 8s, the flop was 8 - 2 - 4 rainbow. Someone bet pot sized. I min raise and he went all in. I called and he river a str8 5 high. LOL. I had 36 and he had me covered.

A couple more of those Bad beats and I am 94 down. Almost 4 buy ins. I tilted for a few hands but it didnt make me lose a lot. I have played well considering how bad I had been doing. in the session. The 15. something VP$IP just tell you that I am not getting any hands and I am not playing crap because of impatience.

Lousy day. I took 3.5hours off, saw "A series of unfortunate events" (how appropiate) and I will start playing some limit in a few minutes. If somehow I lose one more buy in I will stop for a day or two.

Later....

I lost 4 buyins in 20 minutes once on 1/2NL. I wasnt tilting at all though and ended up playing like 2 more hours...got half of it back.

It just depends on how you feel. Last night..I didn't feel good after losing just one buyin....so I left.

i am telling you I am feeling ok.

But it keeps happening: people is getting their miracles:

I have AKc UTG. Someone min raises (preflop raiser of 18% of hands) three callers and I call. We all have one full buy in ($25), except for one player before the raiser, he only had about $7The flop comes A J A rainbow. I check. its check to the raiser and he bets 2 to a 2.25 pot and I raised to 5. Everybody folds and raiser goes allin.

The guy is a maniac and only JJ has me beat, so I called.

Turn: Q
River: 4

Villain shows KT, for a staright, Ace High. and there goes my fifth buy in. I am not feeling bad yet but will stp for the day.

I am not tilting. later I will post some of the stats for the day. One of them 66.5% folded toa river bet. Very good stat for you to know I am not tilting at all.

Alex... I've had some of those bad luck runs before... usually, I'll play at a different site... ie... I LOVE playing JetSet Poker, cause the people there are INSANE, but one day, all the crazies were hitting their hands, and I lost 3-4 buyins, about $650, which were my profits for like a week on the site... So, I left and did a little bonuswhoring, and it seems to be doing a little better...

And, not to nitpick, but AJ and AA have you dead too on that last hand... I know that's like pouring salt into the wound...

No I wouldn't fold... and I guess I should read more carefully before putting in my useless 2 cents... Like I said dude... get out and play a different site... Play UB or Stars where you can read people a little easier, and there aren't so many maniacs... usually works for me... but then I got that 5th ace as my secret weapon... :D

:D

Dont underestimate your help. I have learned a lot from your posts. That happens to everybody.

I dont have accounts at UB or Stars. I have been trying not to go there because many players say they are the toughest places to be.

Arent they?
