2/4nl -- QQ out of position sucks.

ok. this easily wins as my most passively played hand of the month.

with 3 other people in the pot, i just couldn't figure out what to do.

MP1 and the CO are both relatively tight aggressive and are both slight winners (13% and 21% VP$IP respectively). the CO in particular has an agression factor of 3.05. UTG +1 is loose and trashy.

In retrospect, i should have led out on the flop and shut down if MP1 or the CO stayed in with me.

Anything think i should have led at the turn or the river? Anyone think my river call was bad?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (8 handed)

CO ($725.70)
Button ($407.60)
Hero ($392)
BB ($400)
UTG ($641.90)
UTG+1 ($442.35)
MP1 ($560.40)
MP2 ($437.80)

Preflop: Hero is SB with [Qs], [Qd].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $4, MP1 raises to $20, 1 fold, CO calls $20, 1 fold, Hero calls $18, 1 fold, UTG+1 calls $16.

Flop: ($84) [Th], [9c], [5c] (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, CO checks.

Turn: ($84) [Jc] (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, CO checks.

River: ($84) [4d] (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, CO bets $60, Hero calls $60, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds.

Final Pot: $204

Results in white below:
CO has Ks Ad (high card, ace).
Hero has Qs Qd (one pair, queens).
Outcome: Hero wins $204.

I think your play is fine. QQ out of position against a raiser and a tough caller can be trouble, getting it shown down cheaply is fine. You risk getting blown off best hand by a draw hitting or an aggressive bet by raiser, but that's okay and will happen when out of position. A bet on the turn is an option with your OP/OESD, but the clubs do look scary when you don't have a single one. If you are called, you just make it that much harder to show down since it will require a big bet or call on the river. Yes, position disadvantage sucks!

At first glace i was like "eh." but at second glance...that turn card was way too scary to bet. I like the check call on the river. You actually induced a bluff and got more money out of it
