Theres a stretch of highway in Dallas where there was no hadr barrier in th emedian at all. There was a 30foot wide stretch of grass in the middle but no barrier. There were at least 10 head on collusions that I can remember in the last 10-15 years and nobody ever got a dime from the State or City (that I ever heard about). It wouldve been big news if they did, because it kept happening.

They finally put a concrete barrier the entire length of that stretch of highway. The problem area was several miles long and was unlit.

Hopefully there will be money paid out in Minnesota, but my guess is there wont be. Time will tell.
