that's quite a river bet

2/4 NL

No read on the opponent. Never seen him before either..so at the very least i know he's not a regular. He has about $319...I have him covered.

I get [Ah][Tc] in the BB. Couple of limpers. I check.

FLOP $20
[As][Kd][3s]

SB checks. I bet $20. MP opponent calls. SB calls (complete station)

TURN $80
[As][Kd][3s][5c]

SB checks. I feel SB is drawing, he is a station afterall..and MP probably has a lower kicker. I decide to stay aggressive. I bet $60. MP calls. SB folds.

RIVER $200
[As][Kd][3s][5c][5h]

I now have two pair...Aces over 5's king kicker. I check. Opponent moves all-in for $235. I call.

Thoughts???

Did you chop it? That's about how I figure this to have gone down. The only reasonable hand that could beat you is 33, I'm not worrying about that, so I make the call and expect a chop. Interested to find out what really happened though.

Looks like he has AQ or AJ and you split. Or hes a total idiot and missed his flush.

:)

You probably shouldn't bluff that board with a missed flush. He had [Qs][Ts] and I took it down.

Once again an all-in is a bluff. He never would have bet that much with a full house or trips.
