Session of the month for me.

Postby BadBeatMan » Sat Jun 04, 2005 6:42 pm

So I dropped a buy in on Aces early this afternoon on bodog $50 NL

But I took a break, went out house hunting, and came back to play the best session I can remember. Not so much how much money I won (2 buy-ins) but my statistics were worth a damn for the first time since I can remember. I just bought a new computer that i have yet to load PT on to, but here are Bodog's stats...

Hands Played :122

Showdowns won: 90%

flops seen: 30%

Win if Flop seen: 67%

Check:20%

Call: 20%

Bet:23%

Raise: 11%

I know thats not a lot of information but I played a text book session- aces and connenctors from LP, Limp re-raises from EP wit A's and K's and otherwise ABC poker with a few curveballs. I attacked those who bought in short and took their stacks by bullying them. I played tight when I found myself involved in pots with solid players, and I walked away with $150 which puts me a little ahead of the crappy week I've had.

Sorry for the useless posts but it's a tribute to the BTP'ers who have helped me become a better player

keep up the good work..

i personally love it when i'm dealt horribel cards and beats in a session, but somehow make it a decent win. Those are the most rewarding for me.

Still...I'd rather just get hands and win tons of money all the time. :)
