Interesting cash game win rates

Postby iceman5 » Mon Jun 06, 2005 3:31 pm

My database is getting pretty big. I still dont have than many players with more than 750 hands or so but the results are interesting.

Hands played (with me).........PTBB win rate

2158.....12.6 I cant figure out how his rate is so high. He always buys 1/2 stack and is decent but not great or anything

1832......-4.51
1593......1.69
1588......0.62
1585......-12.31
1528......-2.73
1429.......0.75
1426.......-3.34
1341.......-7.41
1309........2.64
1204........19.03.....Very good player who has disappeared. Must be playing elsewhere
1186........3.72......2+2er
1182........-4.08
1172.........4.22.....BTPer
1121.........3.71
1107.........-1.53......I hate to name names but this is Mofflowis
1077.........3.45.....Plays $5/$10 sometimes...not good enough in my opinion
1068.........3.83
1014.........-2.25
992............1.51
969............6.96
927............-1.53
920............-6.43

I just wanted to give you guys something to compare your win rates to at the $1/$2 NL level. These are most of the regulars at Prima. If your win rate is only around 3 or 4 PTBBs, then dont feel bad. There are very very few people winning more than that.

The avg of all these guys is about 4.2 PTBBs. If anyone is wondering, there is only 2 guys on this list with a higher win rate than me.

The list is order of hands played. He is actually losing money. If I sort by win rate..he is much further down obviously.

Kenny, youre not in my database. We were playing together alot but that was when the hand histories werent working.

The 2 players with win rates higher than mine are Yikes and Torron. Torron has disappeared. He was pretty damned good and he is probably the only player that I could never get a read on.

You would be surprised at how low some other guys win rates are. ArkieBassMan, Ballrog, Player1, and alot of the other regulars are either barely winning or they are actually losing. Of course, even though I have over 25000 hands in this database at Prima, I still dont have that many hands with any one player so its still hard to tell how close to their real win rate these are.

Mofflowis is -8.38 on my PT stats after over 1k hands. His VP$IP is very low 11.58% but he does play around 8 table at a time (prima & ladbrokes).

sammyslick and player1 seem to be doing well on my stats

I have a guy with 1100 hands with a 33.45 BB/100 winrate. 33% vp$IP. The number of hands just seems too small to draw any major conclusions.

You'll have a guy or 2 with numbers way off from where they should be but you can normally check out their hands and see a couple really big losses or really big wins and adjust from there.

Ill bet your guy hit several big hands which pushed his rate up so high.

Alot of these regulars in my database are so predictable that its no wonder they cant win more than just a little.

They grind out a profit from the fish but theyll never take any money from the other good players.

I can't beleive yikes is winning that much. I know all of these players since I used to play on prima so much. i knew player1 wasn't a big winner because he is such a rock.
