Just had my first draft last night (I’m in 3 leagues including this one). It’s a 12 team league and I had the second pick. I think the first 3 rounds went well but my board really fell apart in rounds 4-8. The guys picking right before me seemed to be reading my mind and snatched up several players right before I was going to grab them. 12 team leagues tend to be pretty thin on talent past your top couple of guys.
We have the following starting requirements:
QB
RB
RB/WR
WR
WR
WR
K
DEF
We don’t have a TE but you can draft them and play them at WR. We also have a RB/WR flex position which I like because it gives you more options during all those bye weeks in the middle of the season.
So anyway, here’s my team by round:
1st – RB Stephen Jackson (2nd Overall)
2nd – RB Maurice Jones-Drew (23rd)
3rd – WR Torry Holt (26th)
4th – WR Deion Branch (47th)
5th – RB Ahman Green (50th)
6th – WR Braylon Edwards (71st)
7th – QB Philip Rivers (74th)
8th – WR Mushin Muhammad (95th)
9th – Def Baltimore (98th)
10th – QB Alex Smith (119th)
11th – RB Correll Buckhalter (122nd)
12th – WR Drew Carter (143rd)
