UB ERROR... GO THERE FAST!!!!!!!!

Postby MVPSPORTS » Mon Jun 06, 2005 10:31 pm

For all you guys that play tight/aggressive, and love the low blinds... I'm not sure why, but I think there's some kind of bug in UB software that lets you sit down at a table w/ as much as you want at the .25/.50NL games... I just sat down w/ $250, and there's 2 guys here w/ bigger stacks than mine...

You are mistaken. UB has opened up "No Max" tables at the .25/.50 level. Looks dangerous to me lol.

Oh... that still works for me, as long as I'm one of the higher buyins... I can sit back for like 1000 hands, and it'll barely cost me anything... and they're betting like it's a 1/2 game...

That's true. It would definately be great to win like 2 grand off someone just because you waited for the absolute nuts and they paid you off anyway.

I'm curious to know how this went for you MVP. I've been thinking about playing in the game but haven't seen real big stacks when I've checked it out.

Guys,

Come to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. You can find No max Buy in tables all over the place. The games are very weak tight. They dont use blinds, they use antes and that kinda sucks but the games are soft. I canrt wait to have a bigger BR to start making a living out of bad players at the casinos around here!!!

We have a lot of them and a couple Poker rooms. All of the casinos have poker tables with holdem of course. They also play horse or something like that. The wimmer of the previous hand chooses what game is going to be played the next.

Come here and leave rich!

AlexMR

PS: I forgot, they have a min buy in of about 65USD. No max. Most players are sitting on 200-300 stacks but most of them start at the tables with the min 65USD.

I said weak-tight?

Not exactly. I meant soft, but in some places you can find crazy action like PartyPoker. Most players are just casino gamblers, they will seat there and pay whatever you bet to see the next card. Supreme holding when you commit because it is likely that you will go to the showdown with most of them.

I said weak tight because I went to a particular casino were they are. Other places are party-like WILD!.

But it is NO max buy in if that is what you like. I hate it because I dont have the rolll....

Be very careful. No max buy in is a whole different game. That is if there are several very deep stacks. When I looked at UB, most people were still buying in for the normal amounts. I did see a guy with $30K though.

greg... it's late, so maybe the action isn't that great because of it... When I sat down, there was one w/ about $325 and 2 w/ about $250... Not sure why, but like the entire table broke up in about a half hour... I haven't played on UB in a while, so maybe that's how the tables there go.. I'm not sure... But another table I was sitting at, the same thing happened...

Alex... I live in Miami, and for $200, I can fly to Costa Rica... No offense to DR, as I've never been there, but CR has, not only INCREDIBLY horrible poker players, but HOT HOT HOT ass $60 "escorts", where you can spend all your hard earned cash...

Ice... I wouldn't play if there was some bozo who showed up w/ 30K... When I went, I bought in for like $25 more than the biggest stack, which was about $350...

These no max buy in games normally have people losing monster stacks with AA to 75s.

The implied odds are huge in these games.

Don't lose your entire stack in an unraised pot or with only one pair.
