Bodog .5-1 NL (aka The Aquarium)

MP has $100, SB has $185, I have them both covered.

Hero has [4d][6d] in LP
MP limps, I raise to $4, SB calls, MP calls (pot $13)

Flop comes: [8d][9c][Td]

they both check, I check

Turn [8d][9c][Td] [As]

they both check, I bet $11, they both call (pot $46)

River [8d][9c][Td] [As] [5s]

they both check, I fire out $35 because I think they have either a) missed draws or b) an A that cant stand the heat, like a Ax of diamonds or AJ.

SB folds, MP calls with AJ, saying "I thought you had AQ, I dont know why I called honestly" without me saying a word.

I thought this river was a good one to fire another barrel into. Anyone not make this play because of the 2 people in the pot?

If you were gonna bet anywhere it should have been the flop.

Always follow through with your raises! (except in extreme situations of course.) It's the best way to pick up the pot. I mean, you even had outs! When you bet on the river...you had nothing else to turn to.

Kenny - I follow through on my raises 90% of the time.

I think im getting called though on a 89T flop. Against 1 opponent I fire a barrel. against 2, at least 1 of them has a J or a T or QK, etc.

Perhaps...maybe not..maybe so. But the good thing was you still had outs if they did call. I actually didn't even notice the flop was so cooridnated..but still..fire a barrel for me, if for no other reason :)
