Everything about the guy, from his avatar to his deliberately inflammatory and off piste rants were designed, by his own admission, not to spark reasoned debate but to stir up trouble between left and right in a community which had seen very little prior to his arrival.

If that's not low content trolling, I don't know what is. We were all recently warned in no uncertain terms what the consequences of such trolling were likely to be, so he really only has himself and his own lack of self control to blame. Having said that, I think a permaban is a bit heavy handed, and that a week or a month's ban as a final warning would've been better.

I'm sorry you've lost your buddy here, ant, but blaming it yet again on a left wing conspiracy is the height of paranoia and shows that the point about how people debate has been missed.

Personally I would like the AG section renamed something like 'BTP Community' and there be a totally separate 'Politics, Sex and Religion' forum that I would never have to look at.
