Mrs. Marm and I are planning an extended road trip sometime next year, probably in the fall. We'll probably head west from here, and we really only have 2, maybe a third definite stops on the way. Yellowstone, Yosemite, and probably Glacier NP's; and probably in that order too . So its a western road trip mainly along the nothern US. Probably a 2 week trip
I'm looking for ideas on places to stop on the way. Will we be car camping, so resorts and such are out. I know theres a bunch of BTP'ers along the route, so if you guys know of any good places to check out, I'd like to hear them.
Couple of rules though:
1) Cheap. We're looking to do this on a budget. That's why we're camping.
2) Easy access. I'm not afraid of a little exertion, but my wife is practically disabled from a car wreck 10 years ago. Long hikes (>1-2mi) on bad terrain (or even flat terrain) are pretty much un-doable for us.
Really no location is out of the question yet, we're still accumulating ideas, so I'm curious to hear what you guys have to say.
