Did the bozos move to UB???

Postby MVPSPORTS » Wed Jun 08, 2005 12:32 am

I remember Ice saying the Party games have been better lately... Maybe all the boneheads have found their way to UB... I've had a lot of hands today that would make you go "huh"... Like this...

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.50 BB (10 handed)

CO ($18.05)
Hero ($48.75)
SB ($16.75)
BB ($10)
UTG ($53.55)
UTG+1 ($31.10)
UTG+2 ($29)
MP1 ($13.90)
MP2 ($13)
MP3 ($18.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with [As], [Jc].
UTG calls $0.50, UTG+1 calls $0.50, UTG+2 calls $0.50, 4 folds, Hero calls $0.50, 1 fold, BB checks.

Flop: ($2.75) [5h], [Ad], [Jh] (5 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 bets $2.75, Hero calls $2.75, BB folds, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $2.75.

I probably should've raised this bet with a draw out there...

Turn: ($11) [Kh] (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks, Hero bets $11, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls $11.

FUCK... That's about the last freakin card I wanted to see....

River: ($33) [2h] (2 players)
UTG+2 checks, Hero checks.

Bleh... this is goin from bad to worse...

Final Pot: $33

Results in white below:
Hero has As Jc (two pair, aces and jacks).
UTG+2 has Ks 6d (one pair, kings).
Outcome: Hero wins $33.

MVP I play 90% of the time on UB and at the .5-1 and 1-2 level I find there is a good mix of complete fish, weak tights, and fair to good players to make the games good but not crazy. So far it has been my favorite site, although I do want to check out Bodog. Anyways, that being said, the following hand made me go, huh? just as much as yours ( its from tonight as well)

Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (9 handed)

MP2 ($97.45)
MP3 ($50.40)
CO ($131)
Button ($41)
SB ($105.90)
Hero ($99.80)
UTG ($69.60)
UTG+1 ($106.10)
MP1 ($108.95)

Preflop: Hero is BB with [Ad], [Qc].
2 folds, MP1 calls $1, 1 fold, MP3 calls $1, CO calls $1, Luck calls $1, SB completes, Hero raises to $6, MP1 folds, MP3 calls $5, CO folds, Luck folds, SB folds.

Flop: ($16) [Jh], [7c], [Qh] (2 players)
Hero bets $21, MP3 calls $21, Button folds.

Final Pot: $58

Results in white below:
No showdown. MP3 wins $29. Hero wins $29.

Greg... from one pothead to another... I understand your confusion... Just try copying it from UB... I can read that just as easily as I can through the converter (besides, the converter's had the shits lately...)
