AQo in SB, unsure about the turn play

Seat: 1 walker777
Seat: 2 Earp
Seat: 3 laravelle
Seat: 4 ponane
Seat: 5 Jelix
Seat: 6 idledice (Dealer)
Seat: 7 Stoneburg
Seat: 8 moenybook
Seat: 9 kitt888y
Seat: 10 Piscivorous

My opponent is pretty new to the table, I don't have a read on him. He's a bit shortstacked, I have him covered.

------------------
OpeningBetRound
------------------
Stoneburg : Posts small blind 0.10 [Qs] [Ac]
moenybook : Posts big blind 0.20

Piscivorous : Waiting for big blind
kitt888y : Folds
walker777 : Folds
Earp : Folds
laravelle : Folds
ponane : Calls for 0.20
Jelix : Folds
idledice : Folds
Stoneburg : Raises for 1.20
moenybook : Folds
ponane : Calls for 1.10
------------------

This table is usually a lot looser, I'm a bit surprised that everyone but one folds to me. Against one limper I figure that AQo is the best hand, I raise but won't be unhappy if he folds since I don't want to play it out of position.

------------------
Stoneburg : Bets 2.00
ponane : Calls for 2.00

------------------

Flop gets me TPTK, nice. I bet close to the pot since there's a flush draw out. He flat calls so I guess he has a piece of the flop. Since he doesn't raise I would guess a flush draw or the Ten, maybe a PP and wants to see what I do on the turn.

------------------
Stoneburg : Checks
ponane : Went all-in 7.05
Stoneburg : Calls for 7.05

------------------

Ok this is the critical part that I want feedback on. This was (somehow) a new situation for me and I had to stop and think about what to do. Unless Natalie Portman comes in the door and asks me to make love to her I won't be folding, so it's either check/call, check/raise or bet all-in.

I decide to check because there is no danger in giving him a free card. Ok, if he has KJ he can hit a straight but if he hits the A I'll fill up and if he hits the [9c] I'll hit a flush so no matter what hand he has he can't have more than 3 outs. If he did hit his flush I will pay him off since I have plenty of outs. I doubt he has a boat, people tend to slowplay.

So I check, he pushes and I call.

------------------

How did I play it?

Results later per advice.

Yes, he has the [Ac].

I can't improve on anything in how you played it myself. Nice job.

I might have bet the turn....but after thinking about it...i like how that check set everything up. You certainly gave him a chance to bluff at it.

He might have a lower queen.

btw...natalie portman is a damn hottie. one of these days man...one of these days.

Sorry my bad, I didnt see that you had the A. you played this just fine, without the nut flush redraw you might consider folding but this makes this an easy call, even if you are behind to a flush you have half the deck that wins it for you.

I'm fine with this play, I think at worse case scenario he might hold Jc9x or already has the boat, but you can't go around worrying about that for a pot sized all in.

Kennyg is right about the lower queen, he turns over [Qh] [9s], so I guess I would have gotten his whole stack no matter what. Thanks for the feedback, I wasn't sure whether I played it great or horribly but I was sure it was one or the other.
