couple of months ago when I was checking out I noticed her name toping the boards with an amazing ROI and $$$ won.. Then I googled and found out something like: I started playing poker at 15, and started with freerolls .. the rest is history..

I do think online players learn poker much, much faster and better than live players. The champs of the future will be great at both live and online. People with a lot of online experience are harder to intimidate and run over. They re-raise when faced with aggressiveness. They gain confidence online which is much harder to do for new live players.

It is kind of scary for an old guy to have to admit that this 19 year old, today, must play poker better than I do. The really young World Series bracelet winners all got their starts online.

Will more women start playing? There are already a big percentage in the limit games in casinos. There are women playing in the college games and starter games from which a large new generation of poker players will emerge. Poker is going to keep growing. Hooray for Annette!

Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.
