what's your play

$1-2 NL Bodog

Villian has $330 - I have him covered.

I get [5c][5d] in MP

UTG+1 limps, I limp, button limps, SB completes, BB checks ($10 pot)

Flop [Tc][6c][5s]

SB bets $4, UTG+1 calls, I raise to $16, button calls, SB reraises to $48, UTG+1 folds.

I think his most likely holding here is a set. This move just screams strength. But he could have [7c][8c] for instance or maybe 56 from the SB, so I could call and see what happens on the turn.

We are both the big stacks on this table. What's your play? Fold, call, push?

Calling isn't so bad because you're in position. Hard to get away from a set here.... The SB may have limped with JJ...or have something like T6 65 or T5.

Call isn't bad..either is a reraise. I myself would probably call that flop reraise and then raise the turn.

Is he a yahoo or squeezer?

If he is a tighter player you can expect to only really see TT or 66 and folding is best. The closer this guy is to a yahoo the more I lean towards smooth calling and getting it all in at the turn. If he is prone to slowplaying big pairs I move in now. If he playes his nut draws like Mad Genius, pushing is a great play.

Knowing his tendencies will lead you to the correct play more often. As it is played with no read and assuming he is good, I think you might have to fold.

I don't know your villian, but I DO know the typical 1/2NL player on Bodog, and there's no way I'm folding here... I think the hands that beat you NOW, 2 higher trips, are far outweighed by the possible hands he could have: JJ,QQ possibly, [7c] [8c] , [8c] [9c] , 2pr, [Ac] [Kc] ... If he's got set over set, I'd be willing to lose my money here... I'd probably only start to get worried if I smooth called, and he pushed the turn...
