Call or fold

Postby nathan_hicks » Sat Jun 11, 2005 2:01 pm

Earlier today I was sitting in the sb with 7[c]9[c] and played it to a raise from mp.

Hero is 7[c] 9[c]

flop 4[h]6[c]8[c]

I lead out and over bet the flop but utg doubles my raise. Then the original raiser pushes all in.

MP has me covered and seems quite laggish, but this time he obviously likes his hand. Do I fold or call on my open ended straight flush draw?

Need more info. Include stack sizes and type of players you are up against. Min raise usually indicates monster (flopped str8).

We definitely need stack sizes, pot size and what the original raise was.

It looks to me like the preflop raiser has AA or KK and UTG has a set.

Im pushing all in. Not counting the side pot, you will be risking another $43 to win $160 or so. 4:1 on your money.

If I have the hands right, you have a 43% chance of winning. All in baby!

Even if the preflop raiser has [Ac][Kc] or [Ac][Qc] and the other guy has a set, you still have a 26% chaance to win and since youre getting 4:1...its a no brainer all in.
