If you can rule out a set on the flop, yes.

The turn brings up new issues imo. I'm not sure your gutshot or set are any good any more if he's over-aggro.

You're a coinflip on the flop vs. two pair as well as monstrous straight draws and big favorite against 1 pair trying to knock you off the hand with outs. You're a big underdog vs. a set, and on the turn, you just became HUGE underdog to any 78 or 37 hand.

Anyhow, I think laying down the flop is an option (if you put him on a set as much as half the time) as well as pushing or calling. While I normally like calling a lot rather than pushing with position, I think in this case I prefer pushing the flop, simply because it's going to be very difficult to distinguish good and bad turns: Does another big card (9-K) make him two pair? Does a low card make him a little straight? Anyhow, again assuming he rarely has a set, it's hard to know where you're at on anything except a 4, an A or a flush card. So, I think I'd either fold or push the flop.

I think that on the flop
push>fold>call
if he has a wide range (you need to punish him, and avoid making a mistake on the turn)

call>fold>push

if he likely has a set.
Obviously pushing is not good equitywise. I still think calling is reasonable here because you have position and there are so many scarecards on the turn which would allow you to steal. This presupposes of course that villain will lay down a set on the turn if a draw hits. If he is the type to bet regardless or check-call regardless then fold is better like Ais said.
