Flop $2.70 [Jh] [4s] [6s]
------------------

Don't have much of a read on my opponent other than he seems loose and not too aggressive. He's a tad shortstacked (~15) and I have him covered

Flairwinny : Bets 3.00
Stoneburg : Raises for 6.00
Flairwinny : Calls for 3.00
------------------

When he leads into me with a potbet I'm a bit worried about a set and for some reason decide to mini-raise in order to find out if he has one. When he just calls I figure him for a J.

Turn $14.70 [Jd]
------------------
Flairwinny : Went all-in 7.90
Stoneburg : Folds
Flairwinny : Mucks cards

Not much to say, if I go with my read he just made trips and I am drawing to 2 outs. If he's bluffing or betting a PP I'm folding the winning hand to a bet of 1/2 the pot. I decide to go with my read despite the good odds I am getting and curse myself for not putting him all-in on the flop.

No read on the opponent who is new to the table. He bought in with only half a stack though (and is still at ~10) so I'll assume he's not too good until proven otherwise. I have him covered

Flop $2.10 [8d] [8c] [Kh]
------------------
Stoneburg : Bets 1.20
sjoho2005 : Calls for 1.20
------------------

Flop looks fine to me, I only bet half the pot because there are no draws. He calls, I have no idea what he can have but a decent pocket pair like TT or JJ maybe?

Turn $4.50 [Ks]
------------------
Stoneburg : Checks
sjoho2005 : Bets 4.50
Stoneburg : Raises for 18.00
sjoho2005 : Went all-in 3.40
Stoneburg : Receives returned betting money 10.10
------------------

Well that K wasn't too good. I decide against betting since I will only get called by hands that beat me now. Also, since I only bet half the pot on the flop and checked the turn, I might induce a bluff. He bets more than half his stack so I just push to put him all-in.

I think there's a big difference from the earlier AA. In that one my opponent must have read me for a strong hand with a raise both preflop and on the flop, here my opponent should be thinking I am weak, maybe putting me on AQ or a lower PP. That's why I call (well, push...) here and fold the earlier. Am I confused or does that make sense?

can you include the stack sizes when you post hands, it is very helpful.

hand 1, on the flop, i actually don't mind the min-raise if it's for the express purpose of getting him pot-commited (aka one bad call deserves another). the $8 left in his stack after your raise does give him a tiny bit of wiggle room to fold, so for that reason, i probably make it a raise to $9 or so...do not go all-in here b/c he may fold his top pair. the flush draw is probably coming no matter what you bet, so let him come w/ a hand you have slaughtered. on the turn...tough decision, i probably call out of curiosity...i guess i just don't give short stacks very much credit.

hand 2, i like how you played it. i'm guessing you lost, though. :(

Hand #1
Well afterwards I feel that since he is a shortstack and will only have enough left for half a potbet on the turn I might as well push on the flop.

Hand #2
I actually won it. He showed Q5o for a very weird play. I don't know what he was doing in the hand with it, but I am happy I checked the turn and let him bluff off his money while drawing dead.
